Millions of people are trying to lose weight
every day. Trying to change your natural weight is like trying to change
your natural eye and hair color. You can't do it because your natural
weight is genetic.
Do you really believe this? If one is overweight
and thus tense or even sad due to it but still is not willing to do
something about it, then it might be helpful for him to believe that
he is not responsible for making an effort to manage his weight.
The simple truth is that weight loss is controlled
by genetics, yes, but it is also controlled by what you eat and how
much exercise you get on a daily basis. Of course, there are many factors
to this. For instance, if you weigh 400 pounds and your mother weighs
four hundred pounds then there's an obvious genetic tie. Also, at 400
pounds you may most likely find it very difficult to exercise.
For the person who is only mildly obese and
still mobile, there are few excuses for not reversing your fate. True,
you may have an uphill battle on your hands due to your genetics but
you still can do something about it. You can get up every day with the
intention of sticking to your low calorie diet of healthy foods and
you can get some form of exercise every day. Just make sure that you
check with your doctor before you start any type of exercise or diet
plan.
