This low fat recipe will have your kitchen smelling
so good that you may have to fend off your neighbors at risk of having
to share your food.
1/2 c onions, chopped
1 tsp salt
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp black pepper
29 ozs crushed tomatoes
12 ozs fettuccini, uncooked
1 tbsp basil
In a skillet, cook onions and garlic over medium
heat. Cook until tender but not brown. Add crushed tomatoes, basil,
salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered
for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cook fettuccini according to
package directions. Drain. Immediately toss hot fettuccini with tomato
basil sauce.
