You must be very careful when selecting exercise
programs to follow. The first thing that you should do is see your doctor
for a full exam in order to get a baseline reading of your level of
fitness as well as to see if you are healthy enough to embark on an
exercise program.
Another thing to consider when searching for
exercise programs is how much fun they are. If you are not having fun
then you most likely will not not stick to the program. This doesn't
have to be 'drunk naked twister' kind of fun but just something that
will keep you interested and motivated.
Finally, the exercise programs that you choose
must be productive. In other words, you can't just choose hopscotch
as your method for getting exercise solely on the basis that it is great
fun. Oh, and by the way, have fun.
